Free Blackberry Curve 8900 Titanium ….?
If I get this phone unlocked over the Internet will work with any other sim? Or need a special SIM card because it is an Internet phone? Thanks in advance for any useful answer xx
Theoretically, the phone should work with any SIM card. Note that the Curve 8900 does not have 3G, so you can not use a SIM card 3, as the network needs a 3G signal at work. It is also interesting to note that when receiving Blackberry contract, which are automatically placed in a contract specifically for Blackberry. These contracts give you unlimited data usage and web browsing. This is because BlackBerry phones are permanently connected to the Internet and – if you intend to use for e-mail – often synchronize with your mailbox every few minutes. Normal mobile phones do not, and therefore data consumption is billed. But with a Blackberry data usage is so high that the networks do not charge for it – but this only applies to a special contract Blackberry. So if you use it as a phone Pay & Go, you should be aware that going to cost a fortune to use a Blackberry to your destination – your credit will disappear in a short time with all data usage. Blackberry phones are not available to buy as Pay & Go phones for this reason. And if you already have a contract with a network (a model contract is not designed for a Blackberry), then it must also be willing to pay for data usage. I doubt that your network provider will transfer to a contract Blackberry because it gave them the phone. So make sure you have checked everything in the cost-wise, before you start using the phone!
