Titanium And Gold Rings
What is life, titanium or tungsten vs. gold?
I'm trying to choose a wedding ring for my husband to be. A large number of people I know get titanium or tungsten rings instead of gold, but are they sustainable? My boyfriend is a mechanic and works hard to build what we are looking for something that not easily scratched and beaten.
When we compare, gold is not as durable as titanium. Titanium is not as durable as tungsten. Tungsten jewelry is more durable on the market next to a diamond. Gold is heavy and is easily scratched. If you get something like white gold, it requires maintenance to keep the color. Titanium is very light. When you have a titanium ring on the hand, feels as if holding a trombone. The problem with titanium is that it is very resistant to scratches. An accumulation of titanium ring band everyday. Tungsten is the most scratch resistant of the three metals. They are very resistant and highly resistant scratches. If your boyfriend works as a mechanic or construction, tungsten is the kind of wedding ring in my opinion.
